An extraordinary striker who is widely regarded as one of the best ever. With a remarkable goal-scoring record, Lewandowski’s statistics speak for themselves, making him a formidable force on the field.

Hailing from Poland, Lewandowski’s prowess inside the box is unparalleled. Equipped with exceptional heading ability and precision with both feet, he poses a constant threat to opposing defenses. His technical skills also enable him to link up effectively outside the box, further enhancing his impact on the game. With his arrival at FC Barcelona in the summer of 2022, Lewandowski brings a wealth of goals, experience, and invaluable knowledge to the Blaugrana attack.

Having spent eight successful years at Bayern Munich, Lewandowski has cemented his place as one of the top five leading goal scorers in Champions League history, as well as the second-highest goal scorer in Bundesliga history. Born on August 21 in the Polish capital of Warsaw, he began his professional career at Legia Warsaw before making his mark at Znicz Pruszków, where he topped the scoring charts on multiple occasions.

Lewandowski’s journey continued with a move to Polish top-flight club Lech Poznan, where he emerged as the league’s top scorer in the 2009/10 season. In the summer of 2010, he joined Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund, experiencing immense success with two German league titles and reaching the final of the Champions League under the guidance of Jurgen Klopp, albeit falling short against Bayern Munich.

The next chapter of Lewandowski’s career took him to none other than Bayern Munich, where he became an indispensable component of the dominant Bavarian side. In 2020, he achieved the pinnacle of success with Bayern, securing the Bundesliga title, the German Cup, and the UEFA Super Cup. Notably, he finished as the top scorer in the Champions League that season, finding the back of the net 15 times.

Lewandowski’s consistent goal-scoring exploits earned him the prestigious title of ‘The Best’ on two occasions, claiming the award in both 2020 and 2021. Additionally, he was honored with the inaugural Gerd Müller award by France Football magazine in 2022 for scoring the most goals for club and country during the 2021/22 season, amassing an incredible 57 goals in 56 matches.

In his debut season at FC Barcelona, the Polish striker established himself as the attacking reference point for the team, leading the way with 23 goals in the league and guiding the Blaugrana to the La Liga title.

With a career spanning over a decade, Lewandowski is the all-time leading scorer for the Polish national team, surpassing the legendary Włodzimierz Lubanski. In the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, he found the back of the net in the tournament for the first time, propelling Poland through the group stage before a defeat against France in the round of 16 ended their campaign.
